Terms of service for OptiChat

These terms govern your access to and deployment of OptiChat (“the platform”), provided by 4DC Services.

1. Enterprise licensing and permitted deployment

OptiChat is licensed for enterprise knowledge management, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and embeddable conversational workflows. You are granted a licence to deploy OptiChat across your authorized enterprise domains, internal web portals, and local infrastructure in accordance with your subscription tier or self-hosted agreement.

2. Customer corpus ownership and intellectual property

You retain all copyright, proprietary rights, and ownership in the documents, internal manuals, data chunks, and queries you process through OptiChat. 4DC Services acquires no rights in your customer data.

3. LoRA adapter weights and training artefacts

All custom LoRA adapter weights, specialized vocabulary files, and fine-tuning datasets generated through OptiChat remain the exclusive intellectual property and trade secret of your organization.

4. Neuro-symbolic validation and mission-critical disclaimers

OptiChat incorporates neuro-symbolic constraint verification and strict schema validation designed to eliminate hallucinations and enforce formal correctness:

  • Verification boundaries: While neuro-symbolic checks provide deterministic guarantees against specified schema rules and logical constraints, the user remains responsible for establishing appropriate domain constraints and reviewing critical operational outputs.
  • High-risk operational environments: For deployments in life-safety, aviation, or hazardous industrial control environments, human-in-the-loop validation must remain part of the approval chain.

5. Software availability and limitation of liability

OptiChat is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 4DC Services shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from system downtime or model inference errors.
